Washington’s Clover Park School District constructed new 71,143-square-foot-facility for Beachwood Elementary School on Joint Base Lewis-McChord to better serve the education needs of 330 students

The local Clover Park School District project was designed to address capacity and condition concerns in order to correct serious facilities deficiencies as annotated in the Deputy Secretary of Defense memorandum approved July 19, 2011. The new elementary school consists of a nearly 71,143-square-foot facility and supports 330 students, of which 290 are military-connected children.

Upon completion of construction on the new facility, Beachwood held its grand opening in September 2015.
