Washington’s Clover Park School District constructed a new 79,005-square-foot facility for Clarkmoor Elementary School on Joint Base Lewis-McChord to better serve the education needs of 546 students

The local Clover Park School District project was designed to address capacity and condition concerns to correct serious facility deficiencies as annotated in the Deputy Secretary of Defense memorandum approved July 19, 2011. The new school consists of a 79,005-square-foot expansion of Carter Lake, which serves 546 students, of which 461 are military-connected children.

Upon completion of construction on the new facility, Clarkmoor Elementary School held its grand opening in September 2014.
