Earle NWS

Purpose: 

To evaluate community needs and capabilities, and provide assistance to Naval Weapons Station (NWS) Earle, State of New Jersey, Monmouth County, and surrounding townships. Located in coastal Monmouth County, NWS Earle consists of two parts, mainside and waterfront, totaling almost 12,000 acres, and a five square mile marine security zone. The mainside area includes administrative buildings and ordnance storage magazines located south of Colts Neck Township, and the waterfront area is located north of the mainside on Raritan Bay in lower New York Harbor. The two areas are connected by a ten mile long restricted access highway and railroad. NWS Earle provides a critical role in ordnance for all Atlantic Fleet carrier and expeditionary strike groups and hosts 12 station commands and 24 tenant activities that are involved in a wide range of services and functions.
