California’s San Diego Unified School District undertakes a 91,659-square-foot construction project for Miller Elementary School on Naval Base San Diego to better serve the education needs of 735 students

The San Diego Unified School District project was designed to address capacity and condition concerns to correct serious facility deficiencies as annotated in the Deputy Secretary of Defense memorandum approved July 19, 2011. The new school will be a 91659-square-foot expansion of Miller Elementary School and support 735 children, of which 715 are military connected children.

The Miller Elementary School modernization and expansion project commenced in June 2016 and currently remains under construction. Project completion is scheduled for May 2019.
